As a Red Shirt Sophomore (2013): Named the 2013 Conference USA Spirit of Service winner, which recognizes a student-athlete’s on-field performance in addition to community service efforts...  Started in 16-of-19 games for the Panthers, playing 1.386 minutes... Scored her first goal of the season against UAB, converting off a corner kick just after half time...  Helped anchor the Panthers’ backline in a 1-0 shutout of Florida Atlantic... Grabbed two assists and six shots on goal
 
As a Sophomore (2012): Redshirt season
 
As a Freshman (2011): Started all 21 matches she appeared in…Was a key member of a defensive unit that set a single-season school record for shutouts with 10…Helped shutout Denver for the first time all season and snapped the Pioneers’ 22-game SBC undefeated streak…Played an important role in all six of FIU’s SBC shutouts, the second most in the conference as the Panthers allowed just six goals in 11 league matches. Saw action in the opening round of the NCAA tournament against UCF on 11/11.
 
Prior to FIU: Played club and served a two-time co-captain of the Mississauga Dixie Dragons in Ontario, Canada... A member of the 2009 Coupe-Quebec Ontario Cup U16 Championship team... Captained the hockey, soccer and cross-country teams at White Oaks Secondary School... Named Most Outstanding athlete of the soccer, cross-country and hockey teams in 2008-09... Made Honor Roll in all four years of high school career... A member of the Ontario Youth Soccer League Champions and three-time Provincial Cup Finalists... Also recruited by Central Michigan, St. Bonaventure, Tennessee-Martin and Canisius College.
 
Personal: Born Aug. 13, 1993... Daughter of Ron and Wendy Stewart... Has an older brother, Adam, and a younger brother, Sean... Intends to major in biology with plans of becoming a veterinarian... Enjoys snowboarding.
