MIAMI – As part of a continued effort to enhance the fan experience and build brand loyalty, FIU Athletics officials are proud to unveil the Panther Rewards program and Roary's Rookies Kids Club.
 
Both programs reside within the just-launched FIU Sports app, providing Panther fans with unprecedented access and opportunities to engage with FIU Athletics and earn prizes.
 
The Panther Rewards program is free and allows for supporters of all ages to earn points for attending – and staying for the duration – of games. Points can be redeemed for exclusive merchandise, sideline and in-game experiences and much more from an ever-evolving and expanding prize list.
 
Roary's Rookies is the official Kids Club of FIU Athletics and is open to children ages 12 and under. A yearly membership starts at just $35 per child, and provides numerous benefits, including the following – which is a value of $375:

• A welcome box with a branded t-shirt, drawstring bag, water bottle, personalized card from Roary, lanyard and credential.
• The credential grants free, general-admission seating to all FIU regular-season home games, regardless of sport.
• Special access to Roary's Playground at select games.
• Invitations to exclusive events throughout the year.
• Email newsletter communication.
• And more!

Get started today by downloading the brand-new FIU Sports app from the App Store or Google Play. Create your free account and customize your settings to select your favorite teams and elect to receive push notifications to ensure you get the latest news right to your phone. Once the FIU Sports app is open, users can easily navigate to Panther Rewards and Roary's Rookies icons on the bottom menu and set up their profiles and register.
 
ABOUT PANTHER REWARDS
To earn points for game attendance, ensure that location services and Bluetooth are both enabled while using the app. You will automatically 'check-in' once you enter any athletic facility. Points will also be awarded for early check-ins and late departures, so be sure to arrive early and stay through the game to not only create a home advantage for the Panthers but also to maximize your point accrual.
Within the Panther Rewards app, fans can view the upcoming home schedule, the number of possible points for attending each event and the prize store, which will be updated throughout the year, with a variety of options to select.
 
Additionally, Panther Rewards includes an overall leaderboard, offers and discounts, promo codes and more which will activated throughout the year. Additionally, fans can earn points within the FIU Sports app by participating in trivia and polls and engaging with content – i.e. reading articles and watching videos – and simply logging into the app each day.
 
Prizes redeemed will be available at select pickup locations throughout the academic year and will not be mailed. Any unclaimed prizes will be returned. Points are not transferrable and reset at the end of the academic year.

ABOUT ROARY'S ROOKIES
Once a parent or legal guardian creates a free account for Roary's Rookies, each child can be added at a cost of $35. During the sign-up process, a sport-specific Roary avatar can be selected to designate a child's favorite sport.
 
Beyond the membership benefits previously listed, FIU Athletics officials will continue to implement new perks throughout the year.
 
Additionally, Roary's Rookies is integrated into the Panther Rewards program, allowing parents or guardians to earn points for attending games with their child(ren), and those points can be redeemed through the same Prize Store.
