MIAMI– FIU men's basketball continued its Daytona State pipeline, signing 6'11 forward
Seydina N'Diaye (Dakar, Senegal) ahead of the 2026-27 season. A jucorecruiting.com Fab-50 JUCO Freshman, N'Diaye follows
Joey Cantens,
Adrian Davila and teammate
Noah Mendy over from DSC as a sophomore.
N'Diaye appeared in 35 games for the Falcons, starting 10, shooting 58.6 percent from the field and an even 4-4 from three, averaging 6.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and a team-high 2.4 blocks per game. He led the Falcons in rebounding and had a pair of double-doubles, including a season-best performance of 21 and 13 at Wake Tech on Nov. 7.
He scored in double figures eight times and had multiple blocks in 14 of those games, including an outstanding performance of nine points, seven rebounds and 10 blocks against Chipola Collage in the FCSAA DI Championship. He finished the season with 84 blocks, 14th overall in the JUCO ranks. He had two other games with six or more blocks.
N'Diaye attended DME Academy in Daytona during his prep days, and is the first Panther to hail from Senegal since Elhadji Dieng in 2018-19.
