FIU baseball head coach Mervyl Melendez and his coaching staff will welcome back all FIU baseball alumni on FIU Baseball Alumni Weekend this Friday, Sept. 30 through Saturday, Oct. 1. 

Melendez and his coaching staff will open the doors to the FIU ballpark to all FIU baseball alumni Friday. The fesitivities begin at 7 p.m. with coach Melendez addressing the alumni, followed by a tour of the baseball facility and presentation of the baseball stadium renovations.

FIU baseball alumni will participate in batting practice and a home run derby following the tour of the facilities.

Starting at 3 p.m. Saturday, all FIU baseball alumni are invited to a tailgate at the FIU ballpark before heading over to watch Don Shula Bowl XV between FIU and Florida Atlantic at FIU Stadium at 7 p.m.
