MIAMI (Nov. 20, 2017) – FIU women's tennis head coach Katarina Petrovic, announced on Monday morning the signing of Sandra Bozinovic, a native of Saint Louis, France.

Bozinovic has ranked as high as No. 99 in the ITF World Junior singles rankings (Jan. 2016) and 1242 in the singles WTA ranking (July 2016).

In 2016, Bozinovic competed in the European Junior Championships and in a Junior Grand Slam (Roland Garros, France). She reached the semifinals in grade 1 ITF Juniors tournaments in Ibarra, Ecuator and the quarterfinals in Caracas, Venezuela. Also, she reached three semifinals and one final during 2015 in the ITF doubles circuit. Brozinovic represented her country as a national team member in U14, U16 and U18.

"I watched Sandra representing France at the European Junior Champinships in Kloster" said coach Petrovic. "I really think Sandra's offensive game plan fits perfect for our team and she has great skills as doubles player."
