MIAMI (Jan. 10, 2015) – The FIU swimming and diving team completed its training camp season with a successful relay event on Saturday afternoon at the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Center. In total, three pool records were set on Saturday.
"We really swam well today," said Head Coach
Randy Horner. "I'm very happy with the season best times as well as posting a few pool records. We are ready to start classes again Monday and close our training camp season."

Skye Carey, freshman
Letizia Bertelli, freshman
Paulina Zelazna and sophomore
Jennifer Deist earned a time of 3:29.49, a pool record, to take first place in that event.
The Panthers also won the 800 freestyle relay. Bertelli, freshman
Silvia Scalia, senior
Courtney VanderSchaaf and Carey posted a time of 7:35.70, which is also a pool record.
In the 400 medley relay, Scalia set an FIU pool record for the 100 backstroke, as she posted a leadoff time of 54.78 seconds.
