FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Junior Emma Becker of the FIU swimming & diving program concluded her competition at the NCAA Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center.
Becker competed in the 100-yard breaststroke on Friday, March 21, finishing 33rd with a time of 59.69 in her lone event. Her appearance extends FIU's streak to 14 consecutive years with a swimmer competing at the NCAA Championships, the longest active streak among all mid-major swimming and diving programs.
Her performance at the NCAA Championships caps off an impressive season, during which she set both a school and AAC Championship meet record in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.02). She also secured three medals at the conference championships, including gold in the 400-yard medley relay (3:36.12) and silver in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:19.68).
