- Following a four-game home stand, FIU will begin a three-game road stretch, beginning on Monday, Dec. 14, at North Florida ... Game time is 7 p.m. ... The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
 
- The Panthers look to get back on the winning track after three straight losses to Stetson (81-75) on Nov. 30, Elon (77-71) on Dec. 4, and FGCU (84-76, ot) on Dec. 6.

SCOUTING THE OSPREYS
- North Florida comes into Monday's contest with FIU posting a 7-4 record following a 117-71 win over Coastal Georgia on Nov. 12 ... Demarcus Daniels led six players in double figures with 20 points and Trent Mackey added 17 points in the win.
 
- Dallas Moore is one of five players scoring double-figures for the Ospreys this season ... He comes into the matchup with the Panthers, averaging 20.1 points-per-game and 5.2 rebounds-per-outing ... He also leads the team in assists handing out 5.9 assists-per-game.
 
- Joining Moore in the double-figure scoring category is Beau Beech and Trent Mackey who are averaging 15.5 and 13.1 points-per-game, respectively ... Demarcus Daniels (12.2 ppg) and Chris Davenport (11.2 ppg) round out UNFs double-digit scorers.
 
THE SERIES AGAINST UNF
- Monday's game between FIU and North Florida will be the fourth meeting all-time in the season series, and the first since Feb. 14, 2006 ... It will also be the first game, in the series, to be played at UNF ... The Panthers lead the series 1-0, although the actual on court record has the Panthers holding a 3-0 series lead ... FIU had two wins vacated - from the 2003-04 season and the 2005-06 season - due to NCAA sanctions.
 
FIU VS. THE ATLANTIC SUN
- FIU comes into Monday's game boasting a 23-11 all-time record against members in the Atlantic Sun ... Following Monday's game, the Ospreys will be FIUs third most common opponent in the A-Sun, having played four times ... The Panthers also faced A-Sun foes, Stetson (L, 81-75) on Nov. 30 and Florida Gulf Coast  (L, 84-76, ot) on Dec. 6.
 
UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS
- Following Monday's meeting with North Florida, the Panthers will gear up for a two-game road trip, beginning on Saturday, Dec. 19 when they travel to DeKalb, Ill. to face Northern Illinois at 3 p.m. (ET) ... After its match up with NIU, FIU will then travel to the Empire State to battle Binghamton on Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. in Vestal, N.Y.
 
- FIU is 5-3 all-time against Northern Illinois, dating back to the 1986-87 season, with all five victories coming in its last seven meetings with the Huskies ... FIU is 1-2 all-time in DeKalb ... The two schools have not met since Nov. 20, 1999 when NIU handed the Panthers a 98-92 loss in overtime at FIU Arena.
 
- FIU's game with Binghamton will be the first meeting between the two schools.
 
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE PANTHERS
- FIU suffered another heartbreaking loss, on Dec. 6, when cross-state rival Florida Gulf Coast handed the Panthers a tough 84-76 setback in overtime on Lime Court at FIU Arena ... It was FIU's third consecutive loss.
 
- FGCU used a 14-0 run, over a 2:32 stretch in the second half, to wipe out a 13-point FIU advantage, and take the lead, 61-60, with 7:41 left in regulation ... The Eagles took control of the overtime scoring the first 10 points, before Adrian Diaz got the Panthers back on the board, with five seconds left in the game on a dunk ... FGCU would ultimately outscore FIU 13-5 in the extra session.
 
- Adrian Diaz led four players in double figures, scoring a team-high 19 points ... Jason Boswell and Donte Mcgill each added 13 points apiece, and Daviyon Draper chipped in with 10 points ... Diaz also grabbed nine rebounds, blocked seven shots, and equaled his career-high for steals, with three, in 40 minutes of action.
 
-  The Panthers finished the game shooting 49.1 percent (26-of-53) from the field on the day, and 42.9 percent (6-of-14) from behind the three-point arc ... FIU hit just 60 percent (6-of-10) from the free-throw line ... In addition, the Panthers  handed the ball over 16 times leading to 15 FGCU points.
