SCOUTING THE MINERS- UTEP comes into Saturday's game with an 11-8 overall record and a 3-3 slate in Conference USA play ... The Miners are coming off a 71-56 win over Florida Atlantic on Thursday in El Paso ... The win snapped UTEP's three-game losing streak ... The Miners have dropped eight of its last 13 after starting the season 6-0.

- Hooper Vint and Omega Harris led UTEP with 19 points apiece, and Terry Winn and Dominic Artis also grabbed a team-high six rebounds.

- Moore leads five players in double figures for UTEP on the year in the scoring column... He is netting 13.5 points-per-game followed Harris' 12.4 points-per-outing  ... Earvin Morris (12.2 ppg), Artis (11.4 ppg) and Vint (11.3 ppg) round out the double-digit scorers.
