No. 38 @FIUSwimDive Hosts North Florida on Saturday

MIAMI (Nov. 3, 2016) – The No. 38-ranked FIU swimming and diving team (5-1) will host the North Florida Osprey on Saturday, Nov. 5, from the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Center.
 
The meet will begin 12:00 p.m. and is free to the public.
 
The Panthers have won five-straight meets including wins over Denver (currently No. 31), Rice (currently No. 34) and Tulane. Led by Conference USA swimmers of the week, Kyna Pereira (Oct. 18) and Skye Carey (Oct. 25) and two-time C-USA Diver of the Week Rebecca Quesnel (Oct. 18 and 25), FIU will look to remain perfect at home this season (2-0). Last season the Panthers defeated the Ospreys, 168-90, on Oct. 3, 2015, in Jacksonville, Florida.
 
Currently ranked No. 38 CollegeSwimming.com's national poll, FIU is also receiving votes in the season's first College Swimming Coaches Association of America /TYR Dual Meet Poll – the program's first appearance in the rankings.
