- Adonis Filer and Ronald Delph are FAU's two lone double-figure scorers, averaging 10.4 and 10.2 points per game, respectively ... C.J. Turman paces the Owls on the glass, grabbing 7.0 rebounds per contest, while Delph is second pulling down 6.5 rebounds per outing.

THE SERIES AGAINST FAU- FIU comes into its matchup with Florida Atlantic leading the all-time series against the Owls, 21-15 ... The actual on-court record is 22-15, however, the Panthers had to vacate one win due to NCAA sanctions.

Adrian Diaz led the way for the Panthers with 23 points and 15 rebounds, marking his sixth double-double of the season, and the 12th of his career ... FIU led by just four points at the break (30-26), and Diaz had just three points ... Diaz, however, came out in the second half and scored the team's first 12 points, and 18-of-its first 20 of the second stanza.

Daviyon Draper also posted a double-double - his third of the season, and third in the last four games - with a 15-point, 15-rebound performance ... Draper's 15 boards marked a career-high.

- FIU shot 50.0 percent (26-of-52) from the field on the day, and 56.0 percent (14-of-25) in the second half ... The Panthers also outrebounded the Owls, 46-25, and 13-7 on the offensive boards ... The 13 offensive rebounds would lead to 18 second chance points.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE PANTHERS- The Panthers are coming off a tough 86-70 loss at Rice on Feb. 20 in Houston, a game that saw the Owls lead wire-to-wire ... It was FIU's second consecutive loss in the Lone Star State (77-75 loss at North Texas, Feb. 18) after sweeping UTSA (72-56) on Jan. 21 and UTEP (79-69) on Jan. 23, during its previous two-game trip to Texas.

Adrian Diaz and
Donte McGill added 12 points apiece in the loss ... Diaz' first basket of the game lifted the senior to the 1,000 career-pint plateau (at both Kansas State and FIU) ... He also grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the year.

- FIU shot 45.6 percent (26-of-57) from the field, including 50.0 percent (8-of-16) from behind the three-point arc ... Rice, however, hit 52.4 percent (33-of-63) from the field.
