Â
- Patino recorded his second of the night in the 25th minute when he connected with Machado, deked past two Marshall defenders to score from 20 yards out. At the end of the first half, the Panthers led 3-0.

Â
From the Sideline
"It's a solid win at home, scored goals and kept a clean sheet, but the most important thing for the guys is a good week of preparation. The focus was Marshall, who was a good side. We jumped on them early and continued that throughout the game. They had chances, but it's massive for the standings in conference to continue to take it one game at a time with three points."Â - FIU Head CoachÂ
Kevin Nylen
