MIAMI (January 26, 2018) -- FIU Swimming and Diving will finish out the regular season with two road meets, starting tomorrow at FGCU, starting at noon in Fort Myers.

"Anytime we get to swim against another team in South Florida, it gets us going," said FIU Head Coach
Randy Horner. "We just need to compete and getting in the pool with FGCU will create a competitive situation."

Earlier this week, the Panthers swept the weekly Conference USA awards (Swimmer and Diver) for the second time this season. Freshman
Sara Gyertyanffy (Desenzano Italy) win her first Swimmer of the Week honor, while senior diver
Rebecca Quesnel (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) won her second Diver of the Week award of the season, and the 19
th of her career.

FIU sports a 7-3 record in dual meets this season and is remains ranked eighth in the mid-major poll by CollegeSwimming.com this week.

The Panthers will go on the road at Florida Atlantic the following Saturday at noon before final preparations for the C-USA Championships, which take place in Atlanta, Georgia, from February 21-24.
