DENVER, Colorado (Oct. 18, 2018) - After hosting a successful Blue and Gold Intrasquad Meet, the Panthers are back to business this weekend. FIU will take its talents to the Rocky Mountains to compete in
Dual-A-Pool-Ooza hosted by the University of Denver.
"We are excited to get back in action against some great teams this weekend," head coach
Randy Horner said.
Action begins on Friday, Oct.19 at El Pomar Natatorium and is set up as a three-meet, round-robin, condensed event over a 24-hour period. The Panthers will appear in 31 events and will go up against Rice, Tulane and Denver.
This will mark the fourth-straight year that the defending C-USA Champions will make an appearance at
Dual-A-Pool-Ooza, which was crafted by Coach Horner in 2014, alongside the head coaches at Rice and Western Kentucky.
"We are looking for our team to put into action everything we have been practicing," Horner said.
