COLUMBIA, Missouri (Oct. 2, 2018) - On a picture-esque day for golf, the FIU women's golf duo of Carolina Andrade and Valentia Gilly will enter Wednesday's final round at the Johnie Imes Invitational in the Top-15.

As a whole, FIU starts Wednesday in fifth place after a second round of 296 on Tuesday.

Round one's team leader Andrade fired a even-par 72, to place her in a tie for fourth with three other players. The trio sits two strokes back of the another trio currently tied for the lead.

Joining Andrade in the Top-15 is Gilly, who finished the second round with a 73 and enters the third round in a tie for 11th.

Freshman Agueda Cortilla is tied for 31st following a second round 75.

In a tie for 39th sits Gabriela Powell after shooting a 76 on Tuesday.

Rounding out the Panther scorecard is Ana Maria Rengifo, who shot a 83 second round leaving her in sole possession of 68th place.

Host Mizzou, will hold a six shot lead over the pack when play resumes on Wednesday.

FIU is slated for to begin the final round at 9:00 a.m. ET Wednesday.
