FIU's Sherilene Gelderblom was one of twelve student-athletes named to the 2018 InTouch Credit Union C-USA Men's and Women's All Academic Team, announced Thursday afternoon. 

Gelderblom, a two-time Commissioner's Honor Roll selection, currently maintains a 3.85 GPA in interdisciplinary studies. A member of the FIU Honors College, Gelderblom began the season with a victory at the UCF Alumni XC Invite with a time of 18:29. 

She then led the Panthers in their final two regular season meets of the year at Florida and USF. 

Gelderblom hopes to replicate her All-CUSA honors from last season this weekend at the Conference USA Championships in Boca Ration.
