MIAMI (Nov.1, 2018)— The Panthers who have had a 12-day pause in their competition schedule will travel to Fort Pierce, Florida to face Indian River and Nova South Eastern University in a dual meet.
 
The season, which has not started as the four-peat C-USA champions would have liked is still in the beginning stages. With a handful of new faces, the dynamic is blossoming and veteran members are finding their groove.
 
"We've had bright spots and some athletes step up, but we need more from the team, from top to bottom, if we are going to be the team we want to be this year." said head coach Randy Horner, "
 
Having had a little under two weeks off from competition the team has been concentrating on completing their training cycle and working on specific details.
 
"As we come into this meet it's our last chance to test our athletes prior to the mid-season mark. Our emphasis will be on mental focus and execution of race strategies tomorrow," said Horner.
