MIAMI (Jan. 2, 2019) –  With the NFL regular season in the books, it's now time to recap how former FIU Panthers performed this season.    
 
FIU currently has eight former Panthers in the NFL, headlined by former standouts T.Y. Hilton, Johnathan Cyprien and Jonnu Smith. Below is a full rundown of FIU's current players in the NFL and how they did this season.
 
T.Y. HILTON (FIU - 2009-11)
Team's final 2018 results: 10-6 (Saturday, 4:35 p.m. ET at Texans)
Former Panther great T.Y. Hilton had another banner season helping the Colts reach the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Hilton led the Colts with 1,270 receiving yards on 76 catches and six touchdowns.

JOHNATHAN CYPRIEN (FIU - 2009-12)
Team's final 2018 results: 9-7
After starting 10 games in the 2017 season for the Tennessee Titans, Cyprien tore his ACL during training camp in a non-contact play.

JONNU SMITH (FIU - 2013-16)
Team's Final 2018 results: 9-7
Former Panther Jonnu Smith was placed on Injured reserve following Week 14. Before getting injured, Smith hauled in 20 catches for 258 yards and three touchdowns.
 
JEREMIAH MCKINNON (FIU - 2012-15)
Team's Final 2018 results: 9-7 (Sunday, 4:40 p.m. ET at Bears)
McKinnon spent most of the season on the Browns' practice squad, making his career debut in Week 5 against the Ravens recording a tackle. The former Panther finished the season on the Eagles' practice squad.  
 
DIEUGOT JOSEPH (FIU - 2012-16)
Team's Final 2018 results: 4-12
Spent the entire season as a member of the New York Jets practice squad.
 
PHAROAH MCKEVER (FIU - 2017)
Team's Final 2018 results: 5-11
Spent the entire season as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad.

ALEX MCGOUGH (FIU - 2014-16)
Team's Final 2018 results: 10-6 (Saturday, 8:15 p.m. ET at Dallas)
Spent the entire season as a member of the Seattle Seahawks practice squad.

ANTHONY WINT (FIU - 2014-17)
Team's Final 2018 results: 4-12
Spent most of the season as a member of the New York Jets practice squad before making his career debut in Week 16 against the Packers earning a tackle and forcing a fumble.
