MIAMI (Feb. 2, 2019) - The Panthers swimming and diving team will complete dual-meet season in Boca Raton, Florida on Saturday Feb. 2 at 10 a.m.
The contest between FIU and FAU marks as the final swim dual-meet before the four-peat C-USA Champions head to the conference tournament.
FIU is coming off of a successful weekend against Florida Gulf Coast, after defeating the Eagles 198-102 and capturing 14 of 16 events.
The dominate sophomore-duo in
Stephanie Hussey and
Rachel Foord swept the conference weekly awards following their impressive performances against the Eagles.
Hussey won three individual events for the Panthers and contributed to the win in the 400 free relay which earned her the C-USA weekly swimming honor and Foord was recognized as diver of the week after posting a first place finish from the 3-meter spring board with a score of 288.00.
UP NEXT
The Panthers added a diving meet for the following Saturday, February 8, at the Coral Springs Aquatic Center. FIU diving will take on FGCU and FAU for a last chance to compete on the platform ahead of the Conference USA Championships in two weeks.
