The FIU Track Program is set to compete at the 2019 Air Force Reserve Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by UAB at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama.
Last season, the FIU women posted 40 points, the most the program had earned in C-USA Championship history.
Clarissa Cutliff will be aiming for her third consecutive indoor high-jump title, and fourth consecutive win of the indoor season. Cutliff has won every meet she has participated in this year.
Jada Roberson will look to continue an impressive campaign, and improve on her strong finishes last year, including two top five finishes, in the 200m and 60m.
Queshun Watson-Riggins will look to be competitive in the triple jump, after winning his last two competitions at the SPIRE Division 1 Classic and IU Relays. Watson-Riggins also took first in the season opener at the Clemson Orange & Purple Open, with a jump of 14.92m.
This is UAB's eighth-consecutive season hosting the meet, which will conclude Sunday night. The event will be live streamed on CUSA TV for free and switch to ESPN+ at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday.
