MELBOURNE, Fla. (Feb. 19, 2019) – On the final day of the Moon Golf Invitational, Valentina Gilly shot a 2-under par 70 to finish tied for 23nd. Gilly paced the FIU women's golf team that finished in 15th place after a final round 295.
 
Gilly collected three birdies over the final 18 holes to jump nine spots on the final round leaderboard.
 
Joining Gilly in the top-30, was Carolina Andrade, who carded a 73 on Tuesday to finish t30.
 
Agueda Cortilla finished in sole possession of 75th place after carding a 75 over the final 18 holes.
 
Hannah Leiner shaved three strokes off her second round by shooting a 77 on Tuesday to finish tied for 84th.
 
Rounding out the FIU scorecard, Gabriela Powel finished in a tie for 80th after shooting a final round 79.
 
Diana Velez, competing as an individual, turned in a final round scorecard of 79 to finish tied for 84th position.
 
UCF took home the team title, while Louisville's Lauren Hartlage won on the individual side.
 
The Panthers return to the links on March 9th at the 2019 Suntrust Gator Women's Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
