MIAMI (April 12, 2019) - The FIU football program concluded the spring season on Friday night, after holding the 2019 Spring Showcase at Riccardo Silva Stadium in front of the Panther faithful.
The Panthers took part in individual drills and 7-on-7 action, before breaking into a full team scrimmage for the final hour-plus of the event.
Tayland Humphrey had perhaps the most exciting play of the night, after the big man rumbled to the endzone with a pick-6.
Following the Spring Showcase, the Panthers held a meet & greet on the field with fans as the FIU faithful had their hands on a fresh copy of the 2019 football schedule poster.
With the spring slate concluded, the Panthers will now focus on the offseason and building on the program's most winningest season in school history a year ago.

Entering its 18th year of football in 2019, the FIU Panthers are coming off a program-best nine wins a season ago. FIU capped 2018 with a 35-32 victory over Toledo in the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl to finish the season 9-4 overall. Under legendary head coach
Butch Davis, the Panthers have earned back-to-back bowl appearances and 17 wins in the last two years.
