The Basics
- The No. 9-ranked – and third seeded – FIU beach volleyball team dropped a tough 3-2 decision, on Sunday, to No. 4 LSU in the semifinals of the 2019 Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Tournament at the Lakepoint Sporting Community in Emerson, Georgia. The Tigers were seeded second in this weekend's tournament. The Panthers fall to 17-11 on the season.

Dorina Klinger and
Ronja Klinger secured the second point for FIU, in the last match of the dual, 21-13, 18-21, 17-15, on court two.
- The loss to the Tigers snaps FIU's three-dual winning streak, while LSU extends its wining streak to 16 duals.
