MIAMI (Sept. 12, 2019) - The FIU women's basketball team announced its non-conference schedule on Thursday for the 2019-20 season. 

For the web version of the schedule, click here. All times are TBA and will be released at a later date. FIU's 2020 Conference USA schedule will be released next week. 

The Panthers will play eight non-conference games at home and will hit the road for three games during the out-of-conference stretch. 

FIU opens the new season at home against Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday, Nov. 5, with the Panthers taking on the Eagles at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center. The Panthers head to Atlanta the following game to face Georgia State on Monday, Nov. 11 for the first road game of the year in a rematch from last season. 

After returning from Atlanta, the Panthers will play four games in the 305 as they kickoff the homestand versus North Florida on Friday, Nov. 15. FIU also welcomes Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 19), before hosting the annual FIU Thanksgiving Tournament from Nov. 29-Dec. 1 as the Panthers take on Oakland (Nov. 29) and Northern Kentucky (Dec. 1).

Following the tournament, the Panthers set out on a two-game road swing that includes stops in Charlotte, North Carolina and Jacksonville, Florida. The Panthers will open play against North Carolina Central on Friday, Dec. 6, before traveling to Jacksonville on Sunday, Dec. 15 to close out the road slate.

FIU hosts its annual Holiday Tournament from Dec. 19-20, with Grambling State, Austin Peay and Binghamton visiting the Ocean Bank Convocation Center. The Panthers close out the non-conference schedule and 2019 against Brown on Sunday, Dec. 29.
