Columbia, Missouri - (Sept. 29, 2019) – After finishing seventh at the season opening Coeur D'Alene Collegiate, the FIU women's golf team returns to action in the Show Me State for the Johnie Imes Invitational.
 
The three-day, 54-hole event begins Monday at The Club at Old Hawthorne. The Panthers are set to tee off at 9 a.m. ET.
 
FIU is competing in a field that features Arkansas-Little Rock, Arkansas State, FGCU, Fresno State, Illinois State, Mercer, UMKC, Missouri State, Northern Illinois, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, Southern Illinois, Wichita State and host Missouri.
 
Two-time All-CUSA selection Valentina Gilly leads the Blue & Gold lineup that includes Agueda Cortilla, Carolina Andrade, Gabriela Powel and Diana Velez.
