MIAMI (Nov. 30, 2020) – The FIU men's basketball team welcomes Central Michigan for a home contest at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m., and fans can catch the action on C-USA TV.

LAST TIME OUT
Despite being down by 11 early in the second half, FIU used a 17-3 run over the last 4:39 of regulation to earn the 82-75 win over Flagler on Friday afternoon. The squad shot 41.7% from the floor and 31.7% from beyond the arc against the Saints. Individually, Radshad Davis posted a team-high 28 points and tallied nine rebounds and five steals. Antonio Daye, Jr. scored 21 points and recorded four steals and three assists.

BY THE NUMBERS
The Panthers come into the game ranked 13th nationally with 82 attempted three-pointers. The team also ranks 14th with 12 threes per contest. Davis leads the conference with eight steals so far this season, which also puts the forward 13th nationally, and five threes per game, which ranks fifth in the NCAA. He's also second in the league and 11th in the country with 4.0 steals per game. Dimon Carrigan's six total blocks are second in Conference USA and 13th in the nation.

SCOUTING CENTRAL MICHIGAN
CMU comes to the Sunshine State with an 0-1 record this season. The Chippewas fell 74-72 at Illinois Chicago in their season opener. The team went 38.8% from the field against UIC but struggled from behind the arc, draining only two threes. Caleb Huffman had 19 points off the bench while starting guard Travon Broadway Jr. tallied 15 points in the loss.
