MIAMI (Feb. 12, 2020) – The FIU men's basketball team hits the road for a Conference USA game at Louisiana Tech on Thursday, Feb. 12. Tipoff from the Thomas Assembly Center is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET.

BY THE NUMBERS
The men's basketball team leads the nation with 167 total blocks and 6.7 swats per game. The team also comes into the contest ranked second for three-point defense (27.5) and seventh with 233 total steals.

Individually, Osasumwen Osaghae comes into the contest as the nation's leader for blocks (99) and swats per outing (3.96). The senior is also second in the country for field-goal percentage (69.4). Antonio Daye, Jr. leads the conference with 128 total assists and assists per game (5.1).

LAST TIME OUT
FIU picked up a road victory at Florida Atlantic on Saturday. The Panthers topped the Owls 66-59 for the team's third-straight win. The team finished the game shooting 52.9% in the win.

Daye, Jr. tied his season-best with 20 points while Devon Andrews scored 15 for FIU. Trejon Jacob was the third Panther player in double-figures, posting 10 points in the victory.

LOOKING AT LA TECH
LA Tech enters the contest at 17-7 for the year and 8-4 in conference play. The team is averaging 74.5 points per game while shooting 46.5% this season.

DaQuan Bracey leads the Bulldogs with 12.6 points per contest. Mubarak Muhammed comes into the game averaging 8.7 points per game while Derric Jean leads the team with 1.3 steals per outing.

The Panthers hit the road for their final game before the start of C-USA Bonus play. FIU faces Southern Miss on Feb. 15 at 3 p.m.
