HUNTINGTON, West Virginia (Feb. 23, 2020) - The FIU women's tennis team picked up its second Conference USA win of the season after taking down Marshall 4-0 on Sunday afternoon. 

FIU improves 5-2 overall and is a perfect 2-0 in league play.

The Panthers took the doubles point after wins on courts one and two, with Kamila Umarova and Basak Akbas clinching the point after a 6-2 victory.

FIU sealed the 4-0 win officially in singles action, as Sandra Bozinovic, Akbas and Kristina Miletic each earned victories over their Thundering Herd foes. Akbas and Miletic each had to prevail in three-sets over their opponents, with Miletic's 6-2, 5-7, 6-0 win clinching the 4-0 victory.
