MIAMI (Feb. 6, 2020) - The FIU diving team heads to the Coral Springs Aquatic Center on Friday, Feb. 7 to host the South Florida Diving invitational. 

With the Conference USA Championship on the horizon, the meet will mark the final event of the regular season. The Panthers also welcome Miami, FGCU, Indian River and FAU to the event, with action scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. ET. 

"The invitational is a great opportunity for our divers to compete in the platform event before the conference championships," said Diving Coach Nick Yang said. "It will give us an idea of where we are so far on the platform."

Divers will get the opportunity to compete from the platform 1-meter and 3-meter events. Maha Gouda, Rachel Foord, Mandy Song and Kaitlyn Fredericks will represent from the platform and 3-meter. Brooke Bouchard and Brittany Haskell will dive from the 1 and 3-meter boards.
