LAST TIME OUT
The Panthers fell in a pair of contests at Charlotte last weekend. Eric Lovett led the way during both games. The senior posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds during the 63-55 loss and 17 points in the 68-65 loss in the series finale.
BY THE NUMBERS
FIU leads the nation with 569 total three-pointers attempted this season. The Panthers are also fourth in the country with 196 threes made, fifth with 10.9 threes per game and seventh with 159 total steals.
Dimon Carrigan ranks 13th in the nation and second in the league with 37 total blocks. The seniors 2.31 swats per outing are good for 24th in the country and second in Conference USA. Antonio Daye, Jr.'s 36 total steals puts the guard second in the C-USA and 18th in the NCAA.
SCOUTING THE LIONS
Florida Memorial enters the contest 6-12 overall and 6-9 in conference play. The team is averaging 70.7 points per game while shooting 41.6% this season. Individually, Sam Mack, Jr. leads the Lions with 15.9 points per game, followed by Mubashar Ali with 14.5 points per outing. Ali also paces FMU with 1.9 blocks and 10.3 blocks per appearance.

The Panthers return to C-USA play with a home series against UTSA from Feb. 5-6. Tipoff from the Ocean Bank Convocation Center is set for 7 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday.
