MIAMI (April 9, 2021) - The FIU track & field team is set for its final competition in Miami this season, as the Panthers are set to compete at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational in Coral Gables.

Friday's action is set to begin at Noon with the men's and women's javelin, where freshman Rhema Otabor will look to improve on her school record throw of 54.19m, which is currently sixth in the NCAA. 

Saturday's action will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, beginning with the women's 3000m steeplechase at 2:30 pm. 

FIU is coming off an impressive performance at the USF Invitational, where the Panthers saw victories from Filippa Miller in the pole vault and Eliseo Torres in the 5000m. Miller reset her own school record for the fourth time in her career, while Torres dipped under 15:00 for the first time in his three years at FIU.
