MIAMI (May 20, 2021) – FIU men's basketball head coach Jeremy Ballard announced the addition of Seth Pinkney to the 2021-22 roster. Pinkney comes to the Sunshine State following two seasons at Quinnipiac.

"We are thrilled to have Seth Pinkney join the Panther family," Ballard said. "Seth is an extremely unique talent who brings a special blend of size, skill, and athletic ability that translates seamlessly to our style of play. While the fact that he led the nation in two-point field goal percentage last year speaks for itself, Seth's previous two years of college experience will allow him to immediately impact our program."

During his two seasons at Quinnipiac, the center averaged 5.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. With the Bobcats, Pinkney posted 94 career blocks and was 22nd nationally in 2020-21 with 2.3 swats per outing. As a sophomore, he averaged 8.0 points and scored a career-best 16 against Manhattan.
