MIAMI (May 26, 2021) - FIU football's game against the Charlotte 49ers will be televised on CBS Sports Network, the conference office announced on Wednesday. The game will be moved to Friday, Oct. 8 to accommodate television, with a kickoff time set for 7 p.m. at Riccardo Silva Stadium. 

Additional game times and broadcast information for the rest of the 2021 season will be released at a later date. 

The Panthers won 48-23 the last time the two squads met, with FIU and Charlotte facing off in Oct. 12, 2019 at Riccardo Silva Stadium. FIU's last appearance on CBS Sports Network came in 2020 against FAU. 

FIU will officially kickoff the 2021 season at Riccardo Silva Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 2, as the Panthers host Long Island.
