MIAMI (August 11, 2021) – With a new season just beyond the horizon, the FIU women's golf team, led by head coach
Joseph Vogel, announced the 2021-22 season schedule on Wednesday.
The Panther bring back a roster headlined by 2021 first team All-Conference USA selection and Most Improved Golfer of the year
Carolina Andrade. Behind Andrade, FIU boast a quartet of talented freshman.
"We are super excited to be getting ready to compete in about 5 weeks. We are returning 3 out of 5 starters from last year," Vogel said. "
Carolina Andrade our number one player, team captain, four-time Academic All- American, first-team All-Conference and reigning Conference USA most improved player. Carolina returns with valuable leadership and represents FIU with the highest of integrity."
For the third time in the last four years, the Blue & Gold open the year in Idaho at the 2021 Coeur d' Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational on Sept. 19-21. The season opener is host by Gonzaga.
FIU returns to the Sunshine State on Oct. 16 to host the 44th playing of the Pat Bradley Invitational at Lakewood Ranch Golf Club in Sarasota, Florida.
To close out the fall slate, the Panthers head to the Bahamas for the Houston-hosted Bahamas Invitational on Oct. 22-24.

Millburn Ho was a freshman academic All-American last year and played the three for us. Millburn has had a good summer and she will be ready to pick up where she left off," Vogel said. "
Ema Dobiasova was a freshman academic All-American and played the five last year, but she is ready to take her game to another level this year after making some valuable adjustments to her game."
The spring opens on Feb. 7 at the FAU Paradise Invitational in Boca Raton before the Panthers head up the coast to play in the Jacksonville Invitational on Feb. 13.
March opens with the 2022 SunTrust Gator Women's Invitational in Gainesville on March 5-6.
FIU closes out the regular season by leaving the state of Florida for the final two tournaments. First, the squad heads West for a Notre Dame-hosted tournament on March 11-13 followed by the Chattanooga Invitational held at Eagle's Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Georgia, on March 27-29.

Championship season begins on April 18 with the C-USA Championships. NCAA regionals will begin on May 9 at various locations across the United States leading to the NCAA Championships on May 20.
