MIAMI, Fla - (January 27, 2022) - The FIU track and field program is set to compete at the Jack Jackson Invite in Minnesota and the South Carolina Invite, taking place Friday and Saturday. The distance runners will travel to Columbia, while the rest of the team will compete in Minnesota.
The Panthers are coming off a pair of one-day meets at UAB Blazer and Vulcan Invitationals.

MINNESOTA LIVE RESULTS
At the Vulcan Invitational, sophomore
Filippa Miller broke her own school record in the pole vault with a mark of 4.02m (13', 2.25") to earn the victory in the event. Miller bested her previous best mark of 4.00m, which was set at the USF Invitational last April.
Junior
Kristin Lubeskie earned the runner-up spot in the event, finishing with a mark of 3.82m.
In the shot put, freshman
Michaelle Valentin earned the victory in the weight throw with a mark of 18.10m, while posting another personal best performance in the shot put, throwing 12.96m.
Marqueisha Weeks came right behind with a fourth place mark of 12.65m. In the jumps, freshman
Alyiah Eugene took a fifth place finish with a PR of 5.45m.
