Box Score MIAMI, Fla. - The FIU women's tennis team concluded its annual FIU Invitational at the FIU Tennis Courts on Sunday, as the Panthers corralled a pair of doubles victories on the day to record a total of 13 wins over the weekend to conclude FIU's fall slate of action.
Graduate student
Kamila Umarova highlighted the Panthers with an undefeated weekend through doubles and singles action (5-0), while each Panther collected at least two wins for the weekend en route to seeing FIU tally five doubles wins and eight singles wins. Senior
Kristina Miletic recorded four wins over the weekend, followed by freshman
Ekaterina Khairutdinova with a trio of wins overall.
Sunday morning's action saw the Panthers face off with FAU through doubles, as
Kamila Umarova and
Yasmine Kabbaj paired up for a 6-4 win over FAU's Matthews and Filip, followed by a 7-5 comeback win from Miletic and
Salma Loudili over the Owls' McGinnis and Shanok to highlight the Panthers.

Katerina Mandelikova came up short in their matchup with FAU's Kudelova and Galmiche, 1-6.
In singles, Miletic was the lone Panther competing through the final day of singles action, battling USF's Ireland Simme in a tough three-set clash, though, the senior would come up just short after holding the early advantage, 6-4, 5-7 (5), 3-6, to conclude FIU's presence for the weekend.

The Panthers return to action in January for the 2023 dual season, as the Panthers will open the season in Fort Myers, Fla., with a pair of neutral site matchups with Minnesota on Jan. 14 and Liberty on Jan. 15 priot to competing in the 2023 ITA Kickoff, hosted by Miami in Coral Gables, Fla.
