Darkness Halts Play at San Jose Intercollegiate; Four Panthers in Top 30

Weather causes pause again

JACKSONVILLE, Florida (Feb. 14, 2021) – For the second time in as many weeks, play for the FIU Women's golf team was stopped due to weather as day one of the San Jose Intercollegiate was paused on account of darkness.
 
As a team, the Panthers shot an opening round 317 for ninth place heading into the second round that was ultimately stopped.
 
Freshman Karissa Kilby paced FIU over the opening 18 holes with a six over-par 78. Kilby was tied for 18th entering the second round.
 
Joining Kilby in the Top 25, Arlynn Spence is tied for 21st after carding a 79 on Monday.
 
A pair of Panthers are tied for 28th as Carolina Andrade and Jodyn Hodgson shot matching opening rounds of 80.
 
Millburn Ho withdrew from the tournament.
 
Play will resume in Jacksonville at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Live stats can be found here
