MIAMI (Feb. 18, 2022) - The FIU track and field program is set for the 2022 Conference USA Indoor Championships, held at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama. 

"We've had a great regular season and seen a lot of improvement, and meets like this are where we make it count," said head coach Ryan Heberling. "I'm excited to see what the team can put together this weekend.

The Panthers have seen Filippa Miller and Daira Deicmane break school records in the pole vault and 800m this season, respectively. Last season, Maika Cuenca took silver in the pentathlon, and Miller earned a bronze in the pole vault.
