Play Suspended at FAU Paradise Invitational; FIU Tied for Seventh After Round One

Andrade in contention after opening 18 holes

BOCA RATON, Florida (Feb. 7, 2021) – Due to heavy fog in the Boca Raton area, the FAU Paradise Invitational suspended play in the middle of the second round on Monday.  
 
At the end of the first round, the FIU women's golf team sat in a tie for seventh with Arkansas State after shooting an open-round 285.
 
Carolina Andrade placed the Panthers on Monday with a five-under par 67 to claim sole possession of sixth place after the opening 18 holes.
 
Millburn Ho carded an opening round of 72 on Monday to start the second round in a for 36th.
 
The Panther duo of Arlynn Spence and Karissa Kilby both tied for 44th after shooting 73s.
 
Rounding out the Panther scorecard, Ema Dobiasova is in 78th position after turning in a scorecard of 86. 
 
Round two will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 7:30 a.m. with round three immediately following.
