ATLANTA, Georgia (Mar. 17, 2022) - FIU appeared at the NCAA women's swimming and diving championships on day two of events at the McAuley Aquatic Center, with swimmer Maha Gouda and diver Christie Chue representing the Panthers.
Gouda competed in the 1-meter and placed 35th among 47 divers in preliminary round with a score of 259.35. Chue came in at 53rd overall among 77 swimmers in the 200 IM prelims with a time of 1:58.72.

By rule, the Panthers did not move on to the finals session as only the top 16 finishers from the prelims advance.
UP NEXT, DAY THREE
Chue is set to compete in the 100 breaststroke on Friday, Mar. 18, beginning with prelims at 10 a.m. ET and followed by finals at 6 p.m.
The four-day event wraps up on Saturday, Mar. 19, with Gouda appearing in the platform dive and Chue swimming in the 200 breast.
