CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee  (March 29, 2022) – Propelled by freshman Karissa Kilby, the FIU women's golf team finished eighth at the Chattanooga Classic. A final day team round of 289 catapulted the Panthers to the eighth place finish.
 
Kilby fired a final round four-under-par 68 on Tuesday to claim a tie for ninth. The 68 is the lowest round of Kilby's young Panther career and ties Millburn Ho's second round 68 at the Pat Bradley Invitational for the second lowest round shot by a FIU linkster this season.
 
Senior Carolina Andrade shot final round 73 on Tuesday to finish the three-day event in a tie for 31st.
 
To finish in tie for 58th, Ho joined Kilby under par with a final round of 71.
 
Jordyn Hodgson placed in a tie for 69th following a final round 77, while Helena Noel concluded her regular season with a 79 to claim a tie for 81st.
 
UP NEXT
Panther golf will be idle for two weeks before heading to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, to play in the Conference USA Championships on April 18-20.
