MIAMI – The FIU football program held its annual Pro Day event on Wednesday morning at the R. Kirk Landon Fieldhouse and FIU Stadium.
 
A total of 14 former FIU standouts showcased their talents for scouts from 25 National Football League (NFL) teams and two from the Canadian Football League (CFL).
 
Players completed a number of NFL Combine style drills including the vertical jump, bench press, broad jump, shuttle run, 40-yard dash and the L-Cone drill.
 
Players taking part included Max Bortenschlager (QB), D'vonte Price (RB), Bryce Singleton (WR) ,Sterling Palmer (TE), Api Mane (OL), Tommy Heatherly (P), Jamal Gates (LB), Daniel Jackson (LB), Josh Powell (LB), Richard Dames (DB), Rishard Dames (DB), Josh Valentine-Turner (DB), Eric Mitchell Jr (LB) and Demarcus Robinson (DB).
 
FIU will officially kick off the 2022 campaign at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 9 with the FIU Football Spring Showcase.
