PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida (April 19, 2022) – The FIU women's golf team finished tied for third at the Conference USA Women's Championship on Wednesday after shooting a final team round of 332.
The tie for third is the best Panther finish at the C-USA Championship since FIU placed second in 2015.
Karissa Kilby led the way for the Blue & Gold as the freshman collected her third Top 10 of the season and second in as many tournaments. Kilby concluded the week by carding a final round of eight-over-par 80 to tie for eighth.
Carolina Andrade owned the best Panther round of the day by shooting a 78 on Wednesday. Andrade's 78 catapulted the senior into a tie for 10th. The Top 10 finish is Andrade's third of the season and first since the White Sands Invitational in October.
Helena Noel shot an 86 over the final 18 holes to finish in a tie for 28th.
Finishing tied for 34th,
Millburn Ho concluded the tournament with a final round of 88.
Rounding out the FIU scorecard,
Jordyn Hodgson carded an 88 on Wednesday and finished 48th.
