JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 30, 2022) - Filippa Miller reset her own school record in the pole vault with a mark of 4.20m Friday en route to a dominating victory at the UNF Invitational in Jacksonville. 

FINAL RESULTS

Miller, a sophomore, bested her previous top mark of 4.15m, which was set at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational earlier this year. Miller is now tied for the 26th best vault in the NCAA, and is tied for the top mark in Conference USA. 

Kayden Cecil placed third in the pole vault on the men's side, nearly setting a personal best with a mark of 4.90m. Desmond Dorceus earned a third place mark in the shot put at 15.64m. 

Queshun Watson-Riggins, coming off an impressive performance at the Virginia Challenge, placed eighth in the long jump and triple jump. 

The Panthers will now gear up for the Conference USA Outdoor Championships, held May 12-15 in San Antonio.
