Men Soccer's Hildebrandt and Mustre named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Honors

Both land on the list for the first time in their college career.

MIAMI  - The College Sports Communicators, formerly known as CoSIDA, announced its Men's Soccer Academic All-District accolades on Tuesday, as two Panthers were honored for their contribution on and off the pitch among the all-district nods in FIU's Philip Hildebrandt and Eduardo Mustre.

Hildebrandt, a native of Charlottenlund, Denmark, notched all-district honors holding a 3.91 GPA as a Hospitality Managment major appearing in all 19 matches, while starting in 14 games. The graduate student logged 1,118 minutes and a career-high in assists with five, tied for first on the team. The defender provided the assist in the game-winning goal in the NCAA tournament first round match as the Panthers took down Mercer 1-0 on Nov. 16. In addition, Hildebrandt totaled for a multi-assist game as FIU took down Saint Mary's 5-1 on Oct. 14. Through three seasons, Hildebrandt appeared in 30 matches, totaling for three goals and ten assists. 

Mustre, a junior midfielder from Córdoba, Mexico, holds a 3.72 GPA as a Liberal Studies major. Mustre has shined in his first season donning the Blue and Gold, recording a team-high of 11 goals and 24 points and starting in all 19 matches, earning AAC All-Conference first team honors. His 11 tallies are the most by a FIU Panther since 2018, while sitting second in the American. This season, Mustre has a pair of multi-goal games (vs Oregon State 8/24) and (vs Charlotte 10/27), in addition being named to the weekly AAC Honor Roll four times throughout the duration of the regular season.
