ELKHART, Ind. (Mar. 10, 2022) – Swimming participated in day two of the CSCAA National Invite Championships on Friday, with the team scoring 100 points.
Senior
Delaine Goll earned the Panthers' best finish of the day after taking fifth in the 100-breast with a 1:01.34.
Freshman
Ingrid Huszar also placed well in the 100-breast, securing 10th with a time of 1:01.72.
The relay team of
Harliai Curthoys-Davies, Goll,
Var Erlingsdottir Eidesgaard and
Nicole Frank tallied FIU's third top five finish of the day, placing eighth in the 800-free relay with a 7:23.94.
The Panthers would earn more points with two strong B-Final performances. Frank placed fifth in the 400-individual medley B-Final and Curthoys-Davies took third in the 200-free B-Final.
UP NEXT
The National Invite Championship comes to a close on Saturday March 11. Prelims are set for 9:30 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
