GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Â The FIU women's golf team collected wins over a trio of opponents on Sunday, finishing 11
th out of 14 teams at the Vystar Credit Union Gators Invitational, hosted by University of Florida, at the par-70, 6,002-yard Mark Bostic Golf Course.

FIU (+42) earned wins over No. 36 N.C. State (+46), Miami (+46) and FAU (+49), while host No. 27 Florida (+3) won the tournament's crown by four strokes over No. 7 Mississippi State (+7).

Due to prolonged weather delays on Saturday's opening day, the tournament was adjusted to 36 holes as Sunday's slate of competition entailed of finishing the first round's last few holes prior to the final 18.

Karissa Kilby (+9) and freshman
Casey Yu (+9) led the Panthers both tied for 40
th with scores of 149.

Kelly Shanahan led FIU with six birdies for the tournament, as Shanahan (+11) finished tied for 51
st with a score of 151, followed by
Riley Hamilton (+16) tied for 63rd with a score of 156.
Arlynn Spence finished 66
th with a score 158.

Jenna Chun rounds out the Panthers competing, as Chun competed individually to record a score of 161 to place 70
th.
