The Panthers are back in action after finishing 11th out of 14 teams at the Vystar Credit Union Gators Invitational on Tuesday, collecting wins over a trio of schools in No. 36 N.C. State, Miami and FAU, as FIU looks to bounce back this week in Arizona with a strong performance.

Casey Yu led the Panthers tied for 40th through 36 holes of action in Gainesville, though, FIU looks to replicate its superb performance in a runner-up finish at the Sea Best Invitational on Feb. 14.
Hamilton led as FIU's top finisher at the Sea Best Invitational, finishing tied for seventh to collect her first career top-10 finish behind a new 54-hole career low score of 222, capped by a final round 75. Hamilton also led the team in pars, parring a team-best 38 of 54 holes.
Freshman
Casey Yu earned her first career top-10 finish, tying for ninth behind a new 54-hole career low score of 225 – which featured her 18-hole career low score of 73 the second round. Yu recorded six birdies over the three-day span, recording a 75 in the final round to cap her career performance.
Arlynn Spence (+9) added her first career top-20 finish, recording a new 54-hole career low score of 225 to finish tied for 17th, while corralling six birdies over the tournament's span. Sophomore
Karissa Kilby (+12) finished tied for 12th with a score of 224 to round out the Panthers in the top 20, while leading the team with seven birdies. Additionally, freshman
Kelly Shanahan (+14) recorded a career performance with a new 54-hole low of 230 to round out FIU's lineup tied for 37th at the Sea Best Invitational.
