ARLINGTON, Texas - FIU head coach Mike MacIntyre was joined by junior wide receiver Kris Mitchell and junior defensive lineman Jeramy Passmore at 2023 Conference USA Football Media Day, which was held on Tuesday at Globe Life Field in Arlington.

MacIntyre and the players participated in various media opportunities during the event including the 2023 CUSA Football Kickoff show aired live on ESPN+ and featured the head coach and players from each Conference USA program.

The trio also took part in the official media day press conference in addition to other interviews with media outlets.



In addition, a total of five Panthers were named to the Conference USA Preseason Watch List.  Quarterback Grayson James, linebacker Donovan Manuel, offensive lineman Jacob Peace, defensive lineman Jordan Guerad and punter Daton Montiel.  Peace was also recognized as FIU's top academic performer.

The Panthers open preseason camp on Wednesday, July 26, with the first of 20 practices during preseason camp leading to opening week of the season, which will see FIU travel to battle Conference USA foe Louisiana Tech in Ruston on Saturday, August 26 in a 9 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS Sports Network.
