MIAMI – FIU football head coach Mike MacIntyre met with the media on Tuesday afternoon to preview this Saturday's season and Conference USA Opener at Louisiana Tech in Ruston.
 
Joining MacIntyre at the weekly media availability was senior offensive lineman Jacob Peace, senior linebacker Donovan Manuel and junior quarterback Grayson James.
 
Kickoff is slated for 9 p.m. (ET) and the game will be aired on the CBS Sports Network with Carter Blackburn (PXP) and Randy Cross (analyst) on the call. 
 
The game can also be heard live on Miami's WQBA 1140 AM with the voice of the Panthers AJ Ricketts and Corey Brooks serving as the analyst.
 
FIU will be facing Louisiana Tech for first time in a season opener when they meet under the lights at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston on Saturday.
 
The Panthers defeated the Bulldogs 42-34 in double overtime during the most recent meeting between the programs in 2022 – FIU trails the all-time series 4-1, which began in 2013.
